This advanced course builds on the foundations of syntropic agroforestry and regenerative soil management, focusing on the practical and theoretical aspects of managing maturing agroforestry systems, optimizing soil health, and integrating livestock into regenerative systems.

Participants will gain deeper insights into pruning strategies, plant physiology, soil nutrient cycling, and disease suppression, while engaging in hands-on fieldwork and

in-depth project feedback sessions.

This course is highly interactive, with a strong emphasis on real-world application and participant-driven case studies.

  • Pruning shears and machetes (if available; otherwise, these tools will be provided).

Participants are required to complete the ForestFoods Fundamentals or Introduction to Syntropic Agroforestry course before enrolling in advanced courses. Exceptions may be made for those with extensive experience in Syntropic Agroforestry, subject to approval. This policy ensures all participants have the foundational knowledge needed to fully benefit from the course and to maintain the pace and quality of learning for everyone. Advanced courses will not cover foundational topics.
